Welcome to PCNA Member Connect
A new member-exclusive initiative designed to support, inspire, and strengthen the bonds within our Palliative Care Nurses Australia (PCNA) community.
In 2025, Connection is at the core of PCNA’s focus - and we're bringing that to life through PCNA Member Connect, a space where members can come together to share, reflect, and grow.
Over recent months, we've been exploring this theme through our social channels, inviting reflections on what connection means within our professional and personal lives.
We've seen how deeply it’s woven into palliative care - in our relationships with patients, collaboration with colleagues, exchange of ideas, and self-care. Whether through learning or shared experience, connection shapes the way we care and the way we grow together.
Why this program?
Our webinar series has shown just how valuable informal connection can be. One of our favourite parts of these sessions is hearing where participants are joining from - often spanning every corner of Australia, and occasionally even overseas. These warm, informal exchanges highlight a strong appetite for connection that goes beyond structured learning. It's connection before business.
PCNA Member Connect is our response to this: a dedicated virtual space where the primary focus is meaningful connection.
What to expect
These sessions will be:
Inspired by Communities of Practice and lead by PCNA Committee Members
Guided by shared expectations and respectful participation
Focused on open discussion, peer connection, and mutual support
A safe, confidential environment - never recorded or minuted
While they are designed to encourage participation and collaboration, please note these are not clinical supervision sessions.
